Our Natalie was on the front row of Rodarte Spring 2009 Fashion Show on October 9th, 2009. the event was during the Mercedes-Benz fashion week in New York City.
There are reasons why a celeb comes to fashion week:
1. for makeovers,
2. to be informed about the latest style,
3. just to watch models wearing beautiful apparels and accessories,
4. to be up on fashion mags with the whole interview about the show,
The other reasons well kept in the celeb's mind as well as in Miss Portman's. The truth is she needs:
1. makeovers (as the blinkie blue skirt hurts eyes),
2. to be informed about the latest style (as the blinkie blue skirt will not be appropriate for this summer),
3. to watch the models wearing the accessories (as Nat's green necklace doesn't at all harmonize the blinkie blue skirt)
4. to have herself interviewed (thank God the news has now everywhere online)
Natalie...you were right to be there!
You can find many celebs becoming arrogant when they have to deal with the paparazzi. Some grab the camera or give a bad word.
But look at the photos I have here.
Natalie Portman, one of the brightest stars in Hollywood, why the heck she covers her face in front of the cameras?
Don't be shy Natalie!
You are still beautiful no matter if you are with make-up or not, no matter what dress you are wearing, or what bag over your shoulder is...
In September 2009 issue of Interview magazine Natalie Portman talks a lot about her secrets that might be surprising for many people.
She is interviewed by Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie's co-star in war drama Brothers (2009). Ah, Jake is not only cute but also very good at digging Natalie's secrets.
The truth is that Natalie is a huge fan of Barack Obama (no wonder, many people are), she cannot hardly find her skills (so there she is an actor), and when Jake asks about her current state, here's the answer:
"I’m trying to think of a song that feels like sleepwalking. [laughs] I don’t know. I’ve mostly been listening to dirty rap lately. That’s sort of my scene."
People, it ain't wack at all if ya finally learnin' somthin' from Natalie rite naw, yea?
Black Swan might be one of must-see film in 2010. Well, it's actually about a relationship between a veteran ballet dancer and a rival.
So, what's interesting about a ballet film?
You'll find Natalie and Mila Kunis on a sex scene!
If that is the way Hollywood leads the movie lovers into watching 'a used to be boring' sport film, yes, Hollywood has made it.
Well, is Black Swan for the upcoming 2010 Oscar? Or, only to make a box office?
If it is about box office, will you go for the ballet attractions or the lesbian sex scenes?
Reportedly, the breakup was mutual and the pair plan to remain friends, although they both felt the need for separation at this point in the relationship. However, the breakup led to Portman moving into her childhood home.
At first, Portman enjoyed it, but now she is finding that there are some aspects of living there that she describes as “rough” and difficult. “It was cool in the beginning because I get good meals and my laundry done but it turns into trouble,” Portman revealed about living at home with her parents again.
It was recently revealed Natalie and boyfriend Devendra Banhart are no longer dating. A source close to the folk singer said, "Natalie and Devendra have broken up. They will remain friends but need some space and time away."
In April, Natalie, 27, and the bearded musician, who is also 27, were photographed kissing and holding hands as they strolled through the West Village wearing matching black coats and sunglasses.
Natalie - who has previously been romantically linked to a host of actors including Jake Gyllenhaal, Zach Braff and Gael Garcia Bernal - recently vowed to never marry.
Portman, 27, replaces singer-actress Jennifer Lopez who was out of the project. Portman is best known for her role as Padme Amidala in "Star Wars" films. In this movie, Portman will portray a woman who discovers that the way to save her marriage is through her relationship with her 10 year-old stepson.
The movie co-stars Scott Cohen and Charlie Tahan and the process of filming is to begin in Manhattan on November 10.
Actress Natalie Portman is scheduled to speak tomorrow morning at an Obama rally at Lourdes College in suburban Sylvania.
"Eve" was the opening film of the Corto Cortissimo short-film sidebar, which packed the house in the Lido's 500-seat Sala Perla. Most stayed on for the other six films that made up the afternoon's short-film slate.
Portman's presence also added some star power to what has so far been a low wattage festival by Venice standards.
Good luck for your directorial film debut.
The lady luck is smiling upon Natalie Portman this year. The actress has successfully directed a short film, Eve, which is being screened at the Venice Film Festival this week. Later on, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was also named the winner of a Humanity Award for social commitment as part of the festival.
“Those behind the award said Portman was seriously involved with important social and environmental programs. They include the Tacare Girl’s Scholarship Program of the Jane Goodall Institute, a non-profit organization that carries out wildlife research in Tanzania,” according to AP.
The generous Natalie Portman is reportedly donating the prize, $50,000 dollars and a trophy, to the program.
Natalie Portman debut as a director will be proved at the Venice International Film Festival.
The Pirate of The Caribbean star is reported directing a short-film titled 'Eve' which will open the Film Festival. The director picks Lauren Bacall and Ben Gazzara to star her 17-minute movie.
Let's see if Natalie is worth to be a full-length movie director.

Natalie Portman is reportedly moving to California to be closer to and live with her boyfriend, Devendra
The ex-New York resident actress met Devendra on the set of his music video in
March. The relationship has grown strong as people witnessed the couple spent
many times together.
A source reveals to Us Weekly, "He's funny, scary-smart and in love
with her. This is a serious one, and they seem to be in it for the long haul.
I've never seen her so in love or connected to somebody. I definitely wouldn't
be shocked if he popped the question (of marriage) soon."
Natalie Portman is good at politics? Let's see her opinion about the
next-President of the US.
The first, is for Hillary Clinton:
"A lot of the stuff people say about her, I hear it and my stomach falls
because it's so sexist. You ask people why they don't like her and it's because
her husband cheated on her! That was obviously not her choice. She's so much
more polished and experienced than anyone else. Last night, a friend, a social
worker in L.A. who works with underprivileged kids, was saying how these girls
who have never been interested in politics before are so excited that a woman
might be president. I mean, look how many women are in government…Hillary's one
of, what, [a handful of] female senators?"
She also share her words about the other candidates:
"I also like Obama. I even like McCain. I disagree with his war stance—which
is a really big deal—but I think he's a very moral person. I met him and Hillary
on the same day, actually, when I went to Washington with Finca [a nonprofit
that gives loans to businesswomen in developing countries]." (This
girl is looking for something positive in the blackballs.)
In the end, as a woman, she picks Hillary Clinton as her heroine.
"Hillary was by far the smartest person I
met that day. Just totally focused, and knew more about the issues than anyone
else, and was so able to go from one thing to the other."
This is an example that Hollywood is a fake !
Natalie Portman gives you explanation that Hollywood is placed on another
dimension of this world. The Israeli-American beauty almost killed by a horse during a
vacation in Kenya because she believed that she is an equestial expert after
riding well-trained animals on the set of new movie 'The Other Boleyn Girl.'
She shares her NDE (Near Death Experience), "I sort of realised that the horses
were really well trained because I was really galloping and got really good.
Then we finished the movie and I went on vacation to Kenya with my family and we
got on horses and they asked me, 'Can you ride?' I was like, 'Oh, yeah.' They
asked, 'What can you do?' 'Oh, I gallop, I can do anything, really.' I got on
and immediately was tossed off the horse. Usually, they make you feel better.
'That happens,' or 'That horse is kind of wild,' but they were like, 'That has
never happened before.'"
Welcome back to the real world, girl. Not all the horses are the same.

Natalie Portman praised her rival, Scarlett
Johansson, who compete for some attentions of King Henry VIII in the Other
The Pirates of the Caribbean told Hollywood Today, “It was really one of my
best, if not my best, acting experience opposite someone my age. [It] was so
exciting to get to see someone I admired up close."
The actress also convinced that their contention in the movie won't be brought
into the real world.
She said, " In terms of working with each other, Scarlett was like a total dream
partner to work with. It felt like we were on the same team, and yet there was
the fact that she was always so present and so focused and so real, like I could
just believe everything and stay in the scene and feel supported.”
